Asha 203, Asha 202 Memory Card Problem Solution


This solution is for Nokia Asha 203 and Nokia Asha 202 Memory Card problem. It applies to both of these phones because they are schematically the same phones.
MMC problem in Nokia Asha 202 and Nokia Asha 203 can occur because of faulty memory card jacket. It can also occur because of moisture or carbon. So first of all clean the memory card base and the general area around it if that does not work I have marked Nokia Asha 202 Memory Card IC in the diagram below. Replace the Marked MMC IC and the problem will be solved.

Asha 203, Asha 202 Network Ways Problem Solution


The Solution in this article applies to both Nokia Asha 202 and Nokia Asha 203. Network or Signal Problem can occur in these phones because of faulty antenna or antenna connector points.
Nokia Asha 202 Network Problem can be solved by replacing the broken antenna but if by any chance the antenna connector points are broken I have marked antenna connector ways. I have marked their complete traceable ways but you don’t need to make all the jumpers at once. Just make first jumpers. I have marked them just in case you might need them. I have also marked two ICs N7100 and Z7100 repair or replace them if problem persists.

Keypad problem in Nokia Asha 202 and Asha 203 can be caused by a busted Keypad IC. In the diagram below I have marked keypad IC with Red Square. First clean the area around it and the front of the motherboard to be sure that moisture or carbon is not causing this problem. If that does not work replace the Nokia Asha 202 Keypad IC.

Nokia Asha 202 Charging Problem can be caused due to moisture or rusted charging connector. So first replace the charging connector and clean the general area around charging connector points on the motherboard. I have also marked charging connector ways in the diagram below. Replace the fuse I have marked if you can if not just remove and short it.
You don’t need to make all the jumpers as shown in it just make the first one and replace the marked IC, I have marked Nokia Asha 202 Charging Connector Ways just in case you might them.
